Step Gages / Wedge Plates

Step Gages or Wedge Plates consist of a precision path which is inked with a hand drawn scraper. Ink is laid down and cleaned up quickly. Film thickness is controlled at known levels and variable of roller distribution are eliminated. They are made from steel and are heat treated for strength and durability. Each one comes in its own carrying case.

Constant Film Thickness - Single Path

# SGSP - Has a 2" wide 0.4 mil deep path strep in center. Measures 4" wide x 6" long x .918 / .916 type high.

# SGTP - Has two 1" wide paths separated by a 1/2" center. Measures 4" wide x 6" long x .918 / .916 type high.

# SGFP - Has four 1" wide paths separated by a 1/2" center. Measures 6 1/2" wide x 6" long x .918 / .916 type high.
